**Job Description**

We have an opportunity for an Associate Director Project Manager to join our Civil Infrastructure team in Canberra. We are looking to strengthen our Program Management team to allow us to continue delivering a high-quality consulting service to TfNSW.
This role would manage the bid preparation and commercial negotiations with TfNSW and other Civil Infrastructure clients within AECOM’s Program Management portfolio, you will help lead teams in the delivery of these opportunities.
This is an opportunity to further develop your skills managing teams of project professionals, engineers, and environmental scientists, establishing delivery strategies to achieve our clients’ goals. Your experience across the elements of engineering design, the infrastructure lifecycle, Government delivery and consulting will help to facilitate further growth of our services across the region.

**Qualifications**
As an **Associate Director Project Manager** , you will be engaged and excited by project delivery and the successful integration multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders.
The Associate Director maintains and further develops professional and technical skills to the highest level on all projects they contribute to or undertake. They provide leadership and project management for technically difficult or politically sensitive projects. Manage a variety of diverse activities to provide our clients with an outstanding outcome, drive business growth and enhance quality.
The role will hold responsibility for senior report review, strategy development and maintain a reputation of technical expert in the professional community. Lead the development and training of leading-edge technical skills and practical application to add value.
Some of your responsibilities would include:
+ Serves as lead Project Manager on mid- to large size projects.
+ Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
+ Approves and signs off on work.Provides technical expertise for studies and design efforts.
+ Presents complex technical solutions to clients.
+ Performs quality control reviews of work developed by others.
+ Participates in development of technical proposals.
+ Provides estimates for the engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements on large projects.
Your background and experience will enable you to be confident working directly with clients and winning work, whilst also being able to roll up your sleeves to deliver. Your proven ability to lead and engage a diverse and geographically dispersed team will see you succeeding in this role.
Relevant tertiary qualifications a must. Existing strong and respected relationships with our key clients will be highly regarded.
