**Job Description**

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Bridge Engineer for our Rail, Bridges and Structures team in our Basingstoke Office.

The Rail, Bridges and Structures team workload ranges from feasibility studies to scheme designs, detailed designs, assessments, inspections, construction support and management services on a wide range of structures. We are now looking to enhance and grow this team with individuals with a sound technical background and who share our enthusiasm and determination to support our expanding workload.

A selection of our current and recent projects includes –

+ A27 Arundel Bypass – Design for National Highways

+ CAFA Wessex Region – Inspections and Assessments for Network Rail

+ Transport for London Framework, Bridges and Structures

+ Model Contract Document Updates for National Highways

+ A303 Stonehenge Bypass – Preliminary Design for National Highways

+ CrossRail – various station designs and independent checking

**Qualifications**

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

+ Experience in Bridge Engineering and the related application of Eurocodes and National Highways Standards.

+ Experience in computer analysis techniques – preferably in Autodesk Structural Bridge Design and LUSAS or MIDAS.

+ Good technical and communication skills.

+ Demonstrable experience delivering to quality, time and budget, with some previous experience of project management.

+ Previous exposure to clients at both national and local level.

+ Ability to manage project Health and Safety responsibilities including compliance with CDM legislation.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

+ BSc, BEng or higher degree in Civil Engineering.

+ Chartered or Incorporated Engineer with ICE, or having fully completed the Initial Professional Development (IPD) requirements for the same and planning to sit Professional review in the next 6 months(ideally)..
