**Job Description**
As a Civil Engineer you will be part of a large established, experienced national civil engineering team, with a base in AECOM’s multidisciplinary Chelmsford office. You will have the opportunity to progress your career through working on a diverse range of significant development infrastructure projects (across all stages of development), for a range of Clients. You will also have the opportunity to be part of a proactive learning environment within a wider national community of infrastructure engineers. As an Engineer you will be part of a large established, experienced national civil engineering team, with a base in AECOM’s multidisciplinary Chelmsford office.
+ You will have the opportunity to progress your career through working on a diverse range of significant development infrastructure projects (across all stages of development), for a range of Clients.
+ You will also have the opportunity to be part of a proactive learning environment within a wider national community of infrastructure engineers. Performs specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.
+ Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.
+ Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.
+ Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered.
+ Identifies discrepancies in results.
+ Provides guidance to entry level engineers.
+ Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with moderate supervision.
**Qualifications**
+ A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
+ Experience within an engineering consultancy
+ Experience in roads, earthworks, drainage on residential/commerical developments is advantageous
+ Knowledge of Microdrainage is preferred
