**Job Description**
**AECOM** is seeking a **Senior Auditor** to be based in Manila, Philippines
Job Description:
The Senior Auditor role is part of the Audit Services Group (ASG) which evaluates the adequacy and effectiveness of AECOM’s systems of internal controls that guide company activities toward accomplishing key business objectives. The role is primarily responsible in executing and participating in ASG projects globally and in carrying out a risk-based audit plan that focuses on operational efficiency and effectiveness. This helps in ensuring that operations are compliant with company standards, policies and procedures (including effective risk identification and mitigation), government regulations, and generally accepted accounting principles.
+ Execute the annual audit plan which includes participating in and leading projects, adhering to the Institute of Internal Auditors and ASG standards, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
+ Participate or lead meetings with management to (a) define scope and timing of audits, and (b) review of audit findings and recommendations
+ Complete testing per agreed audit programs and ensure they provide appropriate audit coverage in relation to identified risks
+ Obtain information system extracts (financial and non-financial) for audit use independently or through assistance of others
+ Draft audit reports or sections thereof for periodic and ad hoc requirements
+ Ensure timely completion of work and maintenance of established performance standards
+ Collaborate with the Audit Team to develop actions plans to address issue root causes
+ Provide consulting services on audit, accounting, and system issues as assigned
+ Contribute to and participate on enterprise-wide team initiatives with ASG colleagues to share real-time information, establish best practices, identify risks, and refine processes
+ Build and support business relationship with key stakeholders, while maintaining independence and objectivity.
+ Perform complex tasks in compliance with service level agreement, process, policies, procedures, and SOX & internal controls.
+ Provide guidance and technical expertise to junior members of the team in completing projects and performing Audit activities.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
+ At least four years of public accounting, internal auditing, or other relevant work experience
+ Professional certifications (e.g., CIA, CPA, CISA) are highly desirable
+ Project accounting experience is desirable
+ Ability to function well in different cultures and societies
+ Awareness of changing company policies, organization, accounting procedures, government regulations, and audit standards is required
+ Ability to travel up to 30% including international travel (Valid passport required)

+ Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate within a varied audience and internal and external customers. Fluency in English is required; fluency in additional languages is desirable (Communication)
+ Ability to maintain good customer relationship with the ability to initiate ways to improve customer support customer experience (Customer Service)
+ Ability to be thorough and meticulous in completing assigned tasks and with the ability to propose ways to prevent or eliminate errors, discrepancies and issues; must have mature judgment (Attention to Detail)
+ Ability to identify and resolve moderate and complex issues by applying best practices and technical expertise and may recommend solutions for unique scenarios. (Problem Solving)
