**Job Description**
_AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated_ **_Transportation/Civil Engineer_** _for employment in the State of Alabama. Involved with review and close out of state and/or federal aid construction projects and assisting clients with seeking solutions which arise on active construction projects._
**_The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:_**
+ _Assist AECOM and/or client staff with close out of construction projects including review of testing requirements and records, final quantities, and pay requests._
+ _Will work closely with project managers and project engineers to resolve issues with arise in the field on construction projects._
+ _Travel to job sites, plan review meetings, or other project specific tasks_

**Qualifications**
**_Minimum Requirements :_**
+ _Bachelor’s degree in Civil engineering or other related field required_
+ _4 plus years of related transportation civil engineering projects or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education_
+ _Basic knowledge of client standard drawings, specifications and construction standards._
+ _Capable of using spreadsheets, word processing, and standard office software_
**_Preferred Qualifications :_**
+ _Excellent verbal and written communication skills_
+ _PE certification encouraged_
+ _Alabama DOT standards knowledge_
+ _Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time to maximize efficiency_
