**AECOM** is seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer (Restoration) to be based in Oakland, California. Your responsibilities in this role may include:
+ Coastal and wetland restoration from planning to modeling to detailed design and construction supervision
+ Hydraulic modeling studies, flood control investigations, grading plan development, and cost estimate preparation
+ Wetland restoration, enhancement, and shoreline protection design
+ Project management (including client management), technical proposal and report writing.
+ Team management, including supervision and/or mentoring.
+ Bachelor's and 12+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
+ Master’s of Science in Civil Engineering and 30+ years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
+ Professional Engineer in California
+ Demonstrated experience with hydrologic, hydraulic, and shoreline protection concepts, principles, and models.
+ Excellent report writing and ability to clearly present complex technical information visually and orally to a wide audience.
+ Experienced in technical project delivery (from bid preparation/drafting technical proposals to project management).
+ Track record of project management.
+ Ability to coordinate, liaise and engage with clients and key stakeholders.
+ Provide mentoring, guidance and technical advice to support junior staff.
+ Ability to work with a team consisting of several technical disciplines
+ Strong relations and work history with clients on the West Coast and ability to leverage existing relationships to support pursuits.
+ Experience in construction management or engineering support during construction for wetland restoration projects.
+ Understanding of federal, state and local regulatory and permitting processes typically required to implement a wetland restoration project.
+ Membership in an appropriate professional organization
+ Certified in WSDOT Fish Passage and Stream Restoration Training
+ Part Time variable, nonexempt: Offered rate of compensation in California will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The hourly rate for this position is $105 - $135.
