**Job Description**
**AECOM** is seeking a Sr. Payroll Manager to manage payroll team and tasks within the ADP. This individual will join a fast-paced environment, with focus on accurate and timely processing. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement to include a combination of office and remote schedule and will be based in Glen Allen, VA.
**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:**
+ Manage Biweekly and Weekly payrolls, within ADP, for approximately 20,000+ employees.
+ Experience for US and Canada payroll
+ Ensure the processing of new hires, transfers, promotions and terminations are accurate and timely.
+ Manage and direct Payroll Specialists located in various locations.
+ Review and analyze current payroll and tax procedures, in order to recommend and implement changes leading to best-practice operations.
+ Ensure systems are set-up and updated to reflect current employee data, including wages, benefits, sick and vacation time.
+ Manage regular preparation of relevant management reports.
+ Maintain payroll guidelines by writing and/or updating policies and procedures.
+ Handle escalated payroll inquires/requests.
+ Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
+ Involvement with Payroll projects as necessary including an upcoming system conversion.
+ Provides guidance to employees within the latitude of established policies
+ Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect immediate organization.
+ Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including understanding of current business trends.
+ Acts as advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems.
+ May have budget responsibilities. Erroneous decision or failure to achieve results adds to costs and may impact short-term goals of organization.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ BA/BS + 8 years of relevant payroll processing and systems management experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
+ Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is necessary.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Having a CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) Certification is a plus.
+ Experience in ADP EV5 and ADP GlobalView preferred
+ Experience with ServiceNow and/or Workday HR is a plus.
+ Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy, completeness, and thoroughness of all work.
+ Self-starter capable of assuming responsibility for several tasks at once with little supervision.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
