**Job Description**
**AECOM** is seeking a **Entry-Level Structural Engineer** to be based in **Chelmsford, MA.**
_This position is expected to begin in May 2023._
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
+ Work under the supervision and direct responsible charge of a senior-level Structural Engineer.
+ Perform engineering related structural design using both hand and computer calculations.
+ Develop technical specifications, plans, elevations, sections, and details.
+ Verify compliance with applicable codes and engineering standards / practices.
+ Coordinate with other in-house engineering disciplines as needed
**Qualifications**
Minimum Requirements:
+ Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Relevant job experience, work or internship, is a plus.
+ Experience as an Intern, Co-op, or other professional development.
+ Experience with reinforced concrete design, including the design of water holding tanks.
+ Experience in the water/wastewater industry.
+ Experience with AutoCAD.
+ Experience with Revit, BIM360, Navisworks, etc.
+ Ability to work with a diverse team located in the Chelmsford Design Center.
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills.
+ Detail-oriented and technical yet experienced enough to see the big picture.
+ Experienced, self-directed professional.
+ Must be a highly motivated self-starter with solid writing and verbal communication skills.
+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy of work.
+ Ability to meet quality, schedule, and budget expectations.
+ Ability to multi-task and be flexible, along with ability to adapt to project deadlines.
+ Ability to apply passion and enthusiasm for design in a collaborative and progressive team-oriented work environment.
