**Job Description**

**AECOM** is seeking a **Entry Level Architect** to be based in **Kansas City, MO**

_This position is expected to begin in May 15, 2023._

This is a full time, salaried position for an entry- or junior-level emerging professionals with an architectural degree, good visualization/rendering skills, good critical thinking and learning processes, and strong listening and communication skills; professional experience a plus but not mandatory.

**The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:**

+ Basic Revit literacy required; will be expected to improve Revit skillsets for design and coordination over time.

+ May assist with modeling and visualization for pursuits and project design; experience with rendering apps a plus (specifically Lumion);

+ Performing basic architectural/engineering calculations.

+ Coordinating design drawings and specifications, reports and related data tables.

+ Maintaining liaison with design and drafting groups.

+ Preparing, reviewing, and approving drawings as required.

+ Under the direction of the Supervising Architect, may perform technical assignments of moderate complexity within approved schedules and budgets.

+ May coordinate technical and administrative activities with employees in other disciplines and other departments participating on an assigned project.

+ May assist in the training and evaluation of assigned architectural and design/drafting personnel.

**Qualifications**

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field or demonstrated equivalency of experience/education

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Strong visual communication skills including hand sketching

+ Proficiency with Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and Sketch Up

+ Experience with Rhino and Grasshopper

+ Experience working on all phases of architectural projects

+ Actively pursuing licensure
