**Job Description**

**AECOM** is seeking a Project Manager for immediate employment in the N.Y Metro region.

This successful candidate will report to the Director of Construction for the Transportation Construction Management Group in the NY Office, 605 Third Avenue, NY, NY 10158

**The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:**

+ Providing management support for the Transportation Construction Management Group

+ Providing support for key activities including program and project management, operations and staffing, and business development and facilitating Agency coordination relative to these key activities.

+ Liaising between Transportation business sectors (Highway Bridge, Transit Rail, Marine, and Aviation) and other AECOM Business lines to coordinate tasks, ensure that deadlines are met, and address action items related to the key activities noted above.

+ Initiate and ensure bi-weekly reporting by Construction Project PM’s/RE’s. Interface and coordinate with Construction PM’s/RE’s to support and resolve issues as they arise. Expedite critical items and gather attention of Senior Management as necessary.

+ Monitor, track, and report on issues raised by PM’s, RE’s, and Construction staff.

+ Interact and provide management personnel support to team of over 200 personnel, including matters regarding staff and organizational changes. Spearhead team building activities to engage staff and build connections CM group.

+ Manage and mentor staff, be a visible leader and trusted advisor by promoting AECOM’s values both internally and externally.

+ Manages Transportation Construction Group resources.

+ Supervise PM’s/RE’s of large projects or multiple moderate-sized projects. Provide guidance to PM’s and RE’s.

+ Assist in managing the commercial success of projects and provide frequent updates to internal stakeholders.

+ Attend management meetings related to operations, resource management, staffing, and business pursuits as requested.

+ Assist senior management to identify and recruit critical candidates for multiple PMC and CM projects in Transportation

+ (Highway Bridge, Transit-Rail , Marine, Aviation).

+ Formulate and execute project opportunity capture strategies, including the identification of required staff resources to win and effectively deliver projects.

+ Establish relationships with both external and internal clients.

**Qualifications**

**Minimum:**

+ Bachelor’s Degree plus 8 years of experience or demonstrated equivalence of experience and or education.

Offered rate of compensation (NY locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $133,000 - $247,000.
