**Job Description**

AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated mid-level Bridge Engineer for employment in the Seattle, WA. office.

The job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

+ Senior technical resource may serve as technical advisor for team.

+ Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.

+ Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high-quality cost-effective work by others.

+ Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.

+ Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.

+ Uses expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PS&E package.

+ Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings.

+ Prepares technical specification sections.

+ Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.

**Qualifications**

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ BA/BS + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

**Preferred Qualifications** :

+ Bachelors of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering degree.

+ Successful passing of the SE/FE exam

+ 6+ years of bridge design and plan development experience

+ Project experience in Washington State related to state and/or local bridge design project work.

+ PE license in state of Washington State or ability to obtain via reciprocity.

+ Proficiency in software such as MicroStation, LEAP Concrete/Bridge, MathCAD, and MDX

+ Experience in the plan production of transportation structures such as bridges, culverts, and retaining walls.

+ Excellent verbal communication and writing skills, including technical report writing.

+ Structural problem analysis skills (including knowledge/use of design and calculation tools, software)

+ Knowledgeable of standard engineering practices, techniques and applicable codes

+ Knowledge of 3D finite element software such as CSiBridge, MIDAS, SAP2000, etc. is a plus.

+ Ability to do occasional field work (site visits and inspections) and travel.

**Additional Information**

+ Offered rate of compensation in Denver, Colorado will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $95,000. - $165,000.
