AECOM envisions a world where infrastructure creates opportunities for everyone. This includes provision of energy locally and efficiently in a sustainable manner that does not compromise future generations. We maintain energy security while supporting carbon reduction in a dynamic and growing market. Our goal is to partner with our clients to address the shocks and stresses, natural and man-made, on the generation and delivery of electricity to ensure more socially equitable access to resilient, clean power for all.
We are currently hiring a Project Manager able to manage single projects or programs in the New Energy space in Europe, stationary in the Netherlands.
AECOM Next Generation Energy is a market facing organisation within AECOM that provides direct solutions to pure play Energy customers by bringing the best of our company together in an integrated manner. In parallel we deliver Energy services to our wider Markets in their relationships with clients for all their Energy needs. In response to a dynamic and growing market, we have prioritised four clear segments to shape our organisation and associated strategy.
We are looking to hire someone initially focussed on projects in the Energy Transition segment: transportation electrification (EV), hydrogen and wider infrastructure decarbonisation solutions. With a fast-moving market your role can shift to other parts of the Energy space and AECOM’s wider ESG agenda.
Within this function you will play a key role in all the stages of the project, from strategy and consulting to feasibility, execution and successful handover of your projects or programs.
Key duties include:
+ Provide (technical) support to our client’s challenges in the New Energy space, always finding the right solution and capabilities available at AECOM

+ Monitor financial performance of your projects and programs in line with AECOM financial reporting, project reviews and other mandatory requirements.
+ Administer AECOM contracts and ensure compliance with company procedures.
+ Engineering Degree or equivalent experience.
+ Minimum experience in managing construction projects and/or programs, experience in EV delivery projects or programs is a plus.
