An upbringing in the foothills of the Ochils in Scotland distilled Charles’ love of the natural environment. With the architecture studio now based in bucolic Somerset we are influenced and inspired by the natural beauty surrounding us. Maintaining a strong link to the natural world is fundamental to our approach to architecture, ensuring we create environmentally sound buildings that stand the test of time, paying homage to their surroundings, providing a sanctuary to their inhabitants and operating with sustainable values at their core.
