Haines Phillips Architects is a chartered practice built on heritage, trust and superior quality. Haines Phillips Architects was formed in 2007 by the amalgamation of two accomplished award-winning firms, Andrews Downie and Partners and Knight Phillips Architects. We are based in Central London’s WC1 area within a short walking distance from King’s Cross St. Pancras. We are an RIBA Chartered Practice with a wealth of experience working in both private and public sectors going back more than thirty years. Residential development, for private clients, commercial developers and social housing providers makes up the majority of our work. Our portfolio also includes commercial, mixed use, leisure and arts projects, many of which also including conservation and heritage aspects such as on listed buildings. We are comfortable working on a broad range of project sizes and from concept and feasibility all the way through to construction, from small scale extensions and domestic refurbishments, up to large scale commercial development projects. Private client work and high-end residential projects in London and the southeast are a strong part of the practice. We have a high profile in these sectors within London generally and in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, City of Westminster, and in north London in particular. Our work over the years has included many projects outside London across southern England, and further afield literally from Land’s End to John O’Groats.
