"The results of the poll Stephen posted on The Architecture Social showed there is interest for both Revit and Dynamo classes. Since it doesn’t make sense to teach Dynamo before getting to grips with Revit I will begin the series of classes with teaching some basic Revit then after this I will give some Dynamo classes."

I have decided the most logical way to teach Revit is to split the classes into the two activities you do in Revit. These two activities are modelling and documenting. Modelling is the process of creating the 3D geometry of walls, doors and roofs. The second type of activities you do in Revit is documenting the design. These documenting tasks include such things as creating sheets, legends and schedules."

Logistics:- The intended format for the classes is that you follow along at the same time building the model or documenting the design as I am showing on the screencast. If you wish to complete the classes in this way then I recommend you have 2 screens one for your Revit model and one (maybe a tablet) with the screencast class. You will need Revit installed on your machine. I will try to prepare the class material so the Revit version is not important. There will be some files to download before the class to use during the class.
