Glass-House Chats are one-hour themed sessions for an informal chat about engaging communities in design and placemaking.
Children are rarely brought into design processes to shape our built environment, despite them being a substantial and important presence in our neighbourhoods, towns and cities. How can we unlock the potential of children as placemakers and benefit from their contribution to and through design?
At this Chat, we will be exploring design engagement with children and the opportunities and challenges of working productively and collaboratively with this age group. We’ll also explore some of the playful approaches being used in this space that might also benefit engagement with other age groups.
