    Our Ireland Project, Programme & Design Management business unit continues to grow due to successfully secured positions with many high-profile clients and some of the largest projects and programs in the region. As a direct result of this growth, we are currently seeking a full time Senior Project Manager to be based in either Cork, Galway or Dublin.

    As a Senior Project Manager, you will be expected to work with a Regional Director or Director to successfully manage, coordinate and deliver projects for Data Center Clients.

    The role will cover the whole project lifecycle from initial inception, due diligence, through the design, permitting and procurement process and onto the site delivery and commissioning phase

    Job Responsibilities

    The Senior Project Manager will be expected to work with an Associate or Project Director to successfully manage and deliver data center projects.

    + Lead Project Management commissions, taking responsibility for their successful delivery.

    + Ensure commissions are managed and completed efficiently, on time and to the client’s satisfaction.

    + Be the primary interface with AECOM clients (new and existing) and AECOM project teams.

    + Develop strong reciprocal relationships with clients and members of the project team.

    + Lead project delivery in collaboration with design, permitting, procurement and construction technical leads / subject matter experts.

    + Provide effective support and mentoring to Project Managers, Graduates and Apprentices.

    + Ensure all team members reporting to you have current and relevant training.

    + Manage the delivery of project management team outputs, in accordance with agreed scope, programme and quality standards.

    + Responsible for management of project costs, risk, communications, procurement, and stakeholders.

    + Provide full Project Management duties to AECOM clients in accordance with AECOM’s project Delivery System (PDS).

    Approach to all projects requires a high degree of flexibility and creativity, excellent presentational skills, and an ability to communicate effectively with clients and consultants. The successful candidate shall be charged with the delivery of Project Management Services within our Client focused and highly motivated professional team.

    **Qualifications**

    + Degree Qualified – BSc or MSc – in Project management or other construction or engineering related profession.

    + Professionally Qualified – ideally Chartered Project Manager Status with the RICS, APM CIOB or other equivalent institution.

    + 6-10 years proven experience in a consulting environment providing the full spectrum of PM services including chairing meetings, minuting and proactively engaging in discussions, developing the PEP, progress reports, procurement strategies and tender documentation, general post contract management and administration, proactively engaging with Client, contractor and other stakeholders, being aware of the scope of service and ensuring we deliver within the agreed parameters and mitigate / resolve disputes whenever possible

    + Experience of successfully delivering large, complex projects would be advantageous.

    + Experience of successfully delivering Data Center projects is preferred but not essential.

    + Committed to delivering high quality consulting services to our clients.

    + Committed to safe and healthy project delivery through all project stages.

    + Ability to manage delivery of single large complex project or multiple projects small/medium projects simultaneously

    + Proven ability to advise clients and design teams on value, risks, and programme in a holistic way

    + Understanding of JCT, FIDIC and NEC standard forms of contract.

    + Understanding of a variety of project types/sizes/sectors.

    + Accountable and responsible for own actions and those of your team.

    + Ability to work under own initiative where appropriate working closely with the Management Team in the delivery of some of our highest profile projects.

    + Committed to working as part of a team and progress career development.

    + Engenders a right first-time approach.
