We have an opportunity for Part I Architectural Assistants to join our London studio to work on housing, education, and urban design projects across various RIBA stages.
Our studios are made up of 50 people in London and 20 in Rotterdam. We work with focus and attention, quietly pioneering, sharing, and collaborating with each other. **Key Responsibilities**
- Researching and developing solutions to architectural problems.
- Preparation of sketch, working, and presentation models as required.
- Assisting in preparing presentation materials using Revit and by hand for internal and external purposes.
- Drafting and amending concept and detail designs using Revit and by hand.
- Assisting with the integration of technical information and statutory requirements into design and production drawings, including assisting in the preparation of drawings for planning and building control approval, tender, and construction purposes.
- Drafting and amending technical designs and production information using Revit and by hand.
- Assisting in the maintenance of office and project files, printing/scanning drawings, and preparing drawing issues. Maintaining project QA records.
- Researching project briefs, materials, and construction products and systems.
- Assisting with the preparation of specifications and written contract documentation.
- Observing relevant internal and external meetings and making notes where appropriate.
- Attending site meetings with the project architect and making notes where appropriate.
- Attending in-house and external CPD activities.
- Work shadowing and observation of activities within the practice for the purpose of broadening your professional experience.

**Education and Experience:**
- Part I Architecture Degree.
**Personal Skills:**
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Flexible and motivated with a "can do" attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.
**Technical Skills:**
- Excellent design ability.
- Drawing and presentation skills.
- Strong technical awareness and the desire to learn.
- Ability to use Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUp.
- Professional knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, 3dsMax, or Enscape is desirable (however, training can be provided).
- Model-making skills desirable.
