You are a team player who has strong communication, organisational and accounting skills who is excited to work with a tightly knit team in a collaborative environment.What You Will DoCollate, code and process all accounts payable invoices for Gensler’s European regionReview and check invoices to ensure the commitment of company funds is duly authorisedPerform weekly payment runs for suppliersPay all foreign suppliers through wire transfer using our electronic banking systemControl and reconcile the petty cash floats and credit cardsProcess the European (non-UK) net salary payments in accordance with those countries regulationsAssist with the monthly prepayments ad accruals/provision schedulesAssist with processing the weekly employee expense claimsAccounts Payable Balance Sheet ReconciliationsDevelop understanding of our accounting software so that you are seen as an expert and a resource to staffCross-train and work closely with other team members so that we function as a cohesive and high performing team. Assist the team with any ad-hoc projects or analysesYour QualificationsTrack record of experience managing the full cycle of Accounts PayableKnowledge and understanding of VATExperience with BACs payments and international wire paymentsInternational experience preferredExperience in A/E industry or a professional services firm preferredProficient using Advanced Excel, Word, E-mail and the InternetRelevant AP certifications a plusKnowledge of Deltek Vision a plusExcellent organisational skills as well as a high attention to detailAbility to communicate effectively with individuals at all levelsMust be able to prioritise and meet deadlinesAbility to work within a team environment and work independentlyAnalytical, proactive, problem solverThis job description reflects the core activities of the role although there will be changes in the emphasis of duties as required from time to time.
