As an international architectural firm, UNStudio is active in the broadest fields of architecture. Our project portfolio covers every aspect of architecture, ranging from small- to large-scale projects, research and theory. We are currently looking for an All-round Architect to join our Dubai office. The ideal candidate should have strong design sensibilities, technical skills, a flexible mentality, and experience managing all stages of a project, from concept design and with a keen interest in construction stage. The Position: We are looking for an all-round architect with strong design skills and an awareness of technical parameters. You will be focusing on various aspects of architectural design, ranging from research and theory, to a spectrum of programmatic scales and typologies (See our Projects page). This position will require you to continue growing your current responsibility level while helping train and mentor junior staff. Becoming a self-guided professional that never stops learning and continues teaching others is key for the culture of the office.
Key Responsibilities
The Requirements Master’s degree or equivalent in Architecture Experience as a Design Architect or as an Architectural Intern within a dynamic, international environment (1 to 5 years of experience) Outstanding knowledge of 3D Modelling in Rhinoceros plus Grasshopper a big plus. Familiar with all phases of design and construction Experience with Revit software is a very big plus Knowledge of 2D drawing in AutoCAD Knowledge of rendering software such as V-ray Fluent in English (presenting, speaking, reading, writing) Multi-lingual a plus Highly motivated, self-guided, and research driven Willing to contribute to our collective knowledge culture We look forward to receive your C.V./resume + portfolio + short motivation letter.
