This Role At A Glance: NBBJ Columbus is seeking an experienced Application Deployment Specialist to join our talented Digital Delivery team. In addition to extensive technical skills, our ideal candidate is highly collaborative, possesses strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong time management abilities. The desire and ability to work in a fast paced, collaborative environment is essential. In Your New Role, You Will: Work hands-on with a wide range of complex technologiesCollaborate closely with other technology teams to ensure cohesive, seamless user experienceManage end-user software lifecycleDeploy new software or new versions of software through centralized toolsTrack software installation and usage to compare against license quantitiesRemove out of date software or software with known security vulnerabilities, Execute end-user device security patching: both regularly scheduled events and ad-hoc events in response to zero-day vulnerabilities, Annual end-user device OS “gold image” build, and quarterly updates of said imageEnd-user AD account maintenance: Onboarding, Offboarding, Role changesFile permissions maintenancePerform cross-training and facilitate information sharing among team membersWork with Microsoft SCCM/MECM: Create and review images, task sequences, and software deployments, Gather diagnostic data to socialize with Infrastructure team to improve operation of SCCM environment, Generate reports on software usage, machine compliance, and moreTroubleshoot complex problems and develop innovative solutions relating to end-user technologyReview and implement changes to our end-user technology practicesThis is primarily a normal business hours position but may occasionally be required to work on-call or long hours in case of urgent, production impacting outagesWhat You Will Need To Succeed: At least three to five years of relevant experience in a mid-sized, global enterprise environmentExtensive experience deploying OS, software, and updates using Microsoft SCCM/MECMMicrosoft OS configuration and troubleshooting experiencePrior experience with Active Directory and Microsoft 365Experience dealing with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressureExperience with JAMF and administering macOS in an enterprise environmentMicrosoft Intune/MDM experienceExcellent analytical skillsEffective prioritization and time management NBBJ is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
