The combination of local knowledge and global reach helps us deliver the best results possible for our clients wherever they may be.We are seeking a technical team member to join our Education team - work will be across a range of education areas including schools, colleges, universities and science / research establishments spanning the public and private sector across all of the RIBA work stages.This challenge will give you the opportunity to focus on a range of projects for a growing, diverse client base. In this position, you will join a highly creative, collaborative team dedicated to innovative problem solving and design excellence.Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinating contract documents, design / consulting teams and follow projects through to completionWork on all aspects of projects: design development, working drawings, contract administration, client relationships, team communication and on-site servicesManage multiple aspects of client, team and project coordination, including full documentation coordination with other disciplinesProcess change control requests during construction and address RFIResolve complex technical and design issuesConduct on-site inspections and document site reviews, interface with statutory authorities during the design and construction phases of the projectUnderstand and adhere to procedures including quality management and environmental management systems and health & safetyContribute to the business development activities of the Studio and Region, supporting in the preparation of proposals, submissions and presentationsPromote the use and continuous development of appropriate systems, procedures and protocolsSkills and Qualifications:RIBA Part 3 qualified and ARB registered3 to 5 years post qualification experienceA working knowledge of Revit and BIM experienceYour experience must include recent sizeable UK projects and schemes in the Education sectorKnowledge of educational design standards including Building Bulletins and DfE Output SpecificationsExperience of working on larger projects as part of a team and day to day leadership for smaller projectsNaturally you’ll have a strong knowledge of building regulations, design standards and best practiceStrong leadership, organizational, communication and relationship-management skillsAdditional InformationAs an Equal Opportunities Employer, we are proud to support the growth and equality of our people through initiatives including a Mentorship Program, our Group Global Women’s Network and a Diversity & Inclusion Council.
