Arcadis IBI Group's Vancouver office is searching for a Project Manager to join its growing team. In this role you will have the opportunity to take the lead on various projects including highrise, mixed-use, multifamily developments. In addition, see work through all project stages: design through construction. To be successful in this role it requires a excellent comprehension of building science and strong communication skills and a collaborative approach. Responsibilities: Coordinating sub-consultant engineers and and oversee the production of technical working drawings. Work on multiple projects at the same time and/or lead team to complete each project. Direct team members relating to document production to complete a project through all phases - design through CA. Working directly with client and consultant team to effectively deliver projects, responsible for communication to ensure all information is incorporated into project requirements. Good working knowledge of local bylaws, codes and relevant planning materials. Accountable for quality control, project execution, maintaining timelines and budgets. Role includes contract administration, field services, in addition to preparing meeting minutes and project schedules.You'll need to have:Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree from an accredited institution in with ArchitectureRegistered with or eligible to register with AIBC5 years of project coordination within a related fieldExperience working within teams in a similar capacity; providing support to multiple projectsExperience in maintaining project documentation, particularly project management tracking toolsExcellent written and verbal communication; able to communicate effectively and follow up with staff at all levels of an organizationExcellent professional and proposal writing skills Excellent time management and organizational skillsStrong analytical and problem solving skillsSelf-motivated and willing to learnHighly collaborative and a strong team playerExperience with MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Project, MS SharePoint (desirable)Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Indesign and various graphic software.Additional InformationWe are currently in a work from home model during COVID-19, but when we do return to the office we're located at 1285 West Pender Street, the IBI Group Vancouver office is in the historic and architecturally significant Evergreen Building in the heart of downtown Vancouver.
