Arcadis IBI Vancouver office is looking for an Architectural Technologist who can assist PMs and project team for multiple project tasks including but not limited to design development, construction documentation and construction admin phase. Most of the things you’ll work on:Prepare design and working drawings for a variety of projects in RevitPrepare documents through Design Development, Building Permit and TenderAssist with feasibility studiesWork closely with the Project Architect and the project teamCoordinate with other architectural and engineering disciplines as well as external consultants to prepare high quality coordinated documentsWork on multiple projects at the same timeKeep up to date on construction practices, products, codes, and technologiesYou'll need to have:Diploma in Architectural TechnologySome experience in an architectural firm is preferredStrong communication (written and verbal) skillsStrong time management and organizational skills with an ability to work within a fast-paced environment with changing prioritiesMUST have hands-on experience and proficiency with Revit; should have good AutoCAD and Microsoft Office software knowledge and experienceAbility to perform Building Code ReviewsStrong ability to meet tight project deadlinesExperience with project coordinationGreat critical thinking skills with the ability to work remotely with minimal supervision.
