PermanentFull time (40 hrs pw Monday to Friday)Based in Newark with a hybrid Office / Remote / Field working pattern.Position Summary:Arcadis IBI Group’s expertise is delivered by a team of professionals, each dedicated to specialist areas such as urban design, architecture, intelligent transport, landscaping, interior design, software development and many more areas of client focused services. The combination of local knowledge and global reach helps us deliver the best results possible for our clients wherever they may be.This role is within our Managed Services business supporting our Data Services team to provide data in support of transportation infrastructure service providers in the UK and abroad such as National Highways and their contractors, as well as supporting building design and inspection with various internal and external clients.We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Pilot to lead all Drone flight tasks and complement our team of data professionals in support of our clients’ requirements.Duties and Responsibilities:Drone based data capturePlanning of all flightsTesting of new equipment and tasksEngaging with the CAA wherever requiredMaintenance of all logs pertaining to Drone flightsUpdating and submitting the Ops Manual and OSC to the CAA for approvalMaintenance of all Drone equipmentVehicle based data capture with a second surveyor / driverSkills and Qualifications:GVC qualification with a minimum of 80 hours flight time near or over to infrastructure and / or buildingsFull understanding of CAA regulationsClean UK driving licenceWe’ll need you to display a disciplined approach to tasks carried out alongside the ambition to question the norm and present new ideasThe flexibility to be nationally mobile - we operate all over the UKExcellent communication skills and the ability to engage at all levels internally and externallyAdditional InformationAs an Equal Opportunities Employer, we are proud to support the growth and equality of our people through initiatives including a Mentorship Program, our Group Global Women’s Network and a Diversity & Inclusion Council.
