Our Portland office is searching for an experienced Project Architect to join its growing team. Role Responsibilities:Assists in the preparation of Architectural designs and drawings including preliminary concepts and sketchesAssists with preliminary analysis of codes and other regulatory requirementsAssists in the preparation of permit submission packagesAssists with basic coordination of consultant activityAssists with preparation and revision of construction drawingsResearches building products for value and efficiencyAssists with the review of working drawings prepared by in-house staff or outside consultantsPrepares revisions to existing working drawings and other documents prepared by staff and/or outside consultants Administers and maintains all project files and drawings Assists with the preparation of presentations, graphics May participate in client presentationsMay participate in marketing and business development effortsIdeal candidates must be a team player who is well organized, detail oriented, focused, design driven, accurate and able to meet deadlines under pressure Qualifications and Experience:University Degree - Bachelor/Masters of ArchitectureRecent graduate, or up to 3 years experience in an Architectural Design firm Strong technical competency, proficient in Revit and SketchUpMust have strong communication and teamwork skillsKnowledge of Educational Architecture, specifically K-12, preferred Additional InformationWe can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
