We are looking for a Mobility Analyst with a passion for designing technology-driven solutions for improving transit business. Such technologies include but are not limited to fleet and operations management systems, passenger information systems, electronic payments systems, zero emission fleet systems, maintenance management systems and others. Preferred candidate will have a multi-disciplinary experience in one or more of the following areas: transit/transportation planning and operations, transportation technology, systems engineering. Most of the things you'll work on:Support transit agencies and other public sector agencies involved in delivery of transit services with full life cycle management of relevant technologies. Examples of tasks include strategic planning, requirements development, procurement, implementation and evaluation.Coordinate project activities, take responsibility for tasks and deliverables, while working with colleagues both within our group and with other planning, data, software, engineering and architecture professionals in the firm to determine how to integrate technologies with the built environment around us.Prepare project deliverables such as technical memos and reportsHelp with proposal preparation to pursue new workMay travel 10-15% of time to project locations for client-facing assignments.You'll need to have:Experience with transit and transportation projects and/or practical implementation of transportation technologiesKnowledge of and experience in traditional transportation system concepts such as fleet tracking solutions, wireless communications, electronic payments (transit or tolls), transit or traffic operations management solutions and other similar technologies.
