This position supports the accounting/finance function as well as the project management group to process invoices, monitor collections, interact with clients and vendors, for projects for the Southfield office and US East region, within the Architecture + Urbanism practice and the Places Global Business Area (GBA), for an international multi-disciplinary architecture and engineering firm. People and communities thrive when the spaces in which they live, work, move and play are designed and managed in a way that best meets their needs.Role Responsibilities:As a Project Accountant, your role accountabilities will include:Project oversignt and monitoring in integrated project management softwareCoordinate with project manager/project director and client's for all aspects of invoicing projects, and issuing of billings in timely fashionMaintain/update project reporting information using Power BI toolsMonitor receivables, follow up on collections, and update Collections Module to help forecast timing of invoicing, and estimated collection datesRole requires the applicant be flexible and able to multi-task,as deliverable requirements can change rapidlyQualifications and Experience:2 to 4 years experience with invoicing for professional services (both private and public sectors)Undergraduate level degree in business, emphasis in accountingAt a minimum, intermediate skill level with Microsoft Excel softwareExtremely detail orientedAdditional InformationWe can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
