Arcadis IBI Group is looking for a Project Controls Specialist who will support the Project Manager with the delivery on a large-scale P3 transit project to meet time, quality, budgetary and health and safety targets. The successful candidate will promote the best practice implementation of project controls, managing and mentoring individuals and project teamsMost of the Things You'll Work on:The main responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to: Ensure that approved AAP Project Planning and Scheduling principles and methodologies are applied and implemented on projectsResponsible for the development, maintenance and tracking of master project schedules in Oracle Primavera P6Responsible for timely and accurate project management, reporting and tracking, working closely with Project Manager/s, Project Leads and PMO to ensure reports are developed and maintained to a high degree of accuracy.Applying project management principles to devise and deliver new approaches in order to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of project controls.Delivery of projects to achieve project success (Budget, schedule, quality, relationship)Assist in the preparation of fee proposalsWhat You' Need to Have:Undergraduate degree in Engineering or equivalent education and experienceRegistered or accredited professional, PMP or Scheduling certification preferredMinimum 5 years, delivering Project Management & Controls in multi-disciplined project environmentsProficient with construction sequencingExperience with the preparation of PSOS (output specifications)Experience in construction administration procedures, submittal reviews and RFI process will be considered an assetExperience facilitating and managing virtual/hybrid meetings and using the relevant applicationsProficiency in all Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams etc. Previous experience with MS Project is advantageousPreviously work within a consulting environment is preferredKnowledge of the transit, transportation, urban planning sector is advantageousMust be able to work with minimal supervision within a fast-paced, technical, project environmentAdditional InformationWhy you should work for Arcadis IBI Group :Our employees will find a design environment where collaboration is at the core of the business.
