We are committed to be a great place to work that fosters the professional growth of every individual through a relaxed, collaborative and dynamic work environment.We are looking for a Project Coordinator with previous experience working as a project coordinator or junior project manager on transit projects or projects with large, multidisciplinary teams.The successful candidate will hold a degree in Architecture or Engineering and have a minimum of 5 years of experience, will have strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills, with an ability to think quickly to resolve problems in real time, and will also have a holistic understanding of the project delivery process.This role sits within the Global Architecture & Urbanism Division which combines the expertise of IBI’s Buildings and Placemaking practice, our Places’ capabilities, and CRTKL’s multi-sector design leadership to offer a diverse range of solutions focusing on human-centric design, sustainability, and technology. Role Responsibilities:As a Project Coordinator in the transit studio, your role accountabilities will include:Assist with the coordination, management, monitor and reporting of project milestonesIntegrate and coordinate with all disciplines as required to complete project tasksLiaise with extensive teams of consultants and contractorsDevelop and maintain logs, registers and other tables for tracking purposesLiaise with document control and assist disciplines with document submissions including quality checks processCoordinate meetings, agendas and minutesRequirement to work from a project office (currently in downtown Toronto)Qualifications and Experience:Minimum University Bachelor’s Degree; in Architecture or EngineeringMust have at least 5 years of proven work experience as a Project Coordinator in the Architecture or Engineering industryPrevious experience working on large and complex engineering or architecture projects from concept to delivery – P3 experience is an assetPrevious experience with interpreting and developing project scheduling, plans, managing budget and risks including document and quality controlStrong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple deadlines and work under pressure is expectedPrevious experience with Primavera or similar project scheduling software is an assetProficiency MS Excel and other Microsoft applications such as Word, Powerpoint, OutlookProficiency Acrobat or Bluebeam for document mark-ups and commentsProficiency with FTP, Project Wise, SharePoint, ISO, MS Office.
