Arcadis is growing! Arcadis is seeking a Project Coordinator to join our Education Architecture studio in the Houston, Texas office. This role sits within the Global Architecture & Urbanism Division which combines the expertise of IBI’s Buildings and Placemaking practice, our Places’ capabilities, and CRTKL’s multi-sector design leadership to offer a diverse range of solutions focusing on human-centric design, sustainability, and technology. The successful candidate would assist and support Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers in all aspects of project coordination and administration, from programming and conceptualization to construction administration and closeout for our educational practice group. This position will require ability to work from the office and project sites and travel as needed. Role Responsibilities:Maintaining Internal Project FilesAssist with proposals, formatting specifications, filing communications; logging/tracking/issuing project documents (AEAs, Pay Apps, etc.)Utilizing Document Templates to prepare Letters, etc.Assist with AIA Contract DocumentsAssist with meeting agendas and minutesMay support multiple Principals, Project Managers, or project team membersEntering and logging timesheets and expense reports as necessaryAssist Front Desk with phone support/backup/rollover callsAll other duties as assigned.Qualifications and Experience:Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in an administrative rolePrevious experience in the A/E/C industry strongly desiredExpert in Microsoft 365; MS Word, Excel and OutlookExperience in Bluebeam or Adobe AcrobatDetail oriented, ability to work unsupervisedStrong analytical, organizational, and time management skillsWork well under pressure, juggle and prioritize multiple projects and adjust work accordingly, often against tight deadlinesExcellent communication (verbal/written) and strong interpersonal skillsA natural ability to collaborate and work with cross-functional teams such as internal team members, external consultants, clients and contractorsAbility to work both as part of a team and independentlyVery detailed, accurate proofreading skills.Additional InformationWhy Arcadis?We can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
