Arcadis IBI Group's Vancouver office is in search of an Project Manager (Architecture) to join our collaborative and innovative Institutional Architecture team. Our multi-disciplinary team collaborates with groups across the globe to design and manage healthcare/institutional in British Columbia. The successful candidate will be responsible for leadership and coordination of the project team and the day-to-day management of projects. They will be a client champion and be involved in all phases of the project from concept development through construction. If you are looking for a challenging opportunity that will allow you to grow your career while working with a highly creative and collaborative team, dedicated to innovative problem solving and design excellence, then come discover what Arcadis IBI Group has to offer.Most of the things you’ll work on:Manage multiple project resources from cross-functional teams, as well as interfacing with project leaders, technology specialists, professional staff, vendors and consultantsCoordinate the architectural and project design on a collection of complex small projects, medium size projects or large projectsPrepare and coordinate detailed design and construction documents, review of working drawings prepared by in-house staff or outside consultantsDefine and decide objectives related to the project or segment of a large project from a cost, schedule, technical and quality perspectiveApply knowledge of building codes and zoning bylawsConduct on-site observations and document site reviews, processes submittals/substitution requests during construction and address RFIYou'll Need to Have:Post-secondary degree or diploma in Architecture requiredMust be registered with the AIBC, or eligible to be registered in the province of British ColumbiaMinimum 10 years of related experience, ideally with institutional/healthcare architectural experience LEED accredited professional is preferredAbility to hand sketch and communicate concepts and ideas to others effectivelyAbility to apply accessibility codes, applicable building codes, and life-safety codes to a wide variety of project scopes and complexityAbility to oversee development of building documentation in modeling/drafting software (Autodesk Revit)Strong leadership skills and an ability to check work of others for accuracy and completeness and manage team to meet project budget and scheduleStrong understanding of project financialsAdditional InformationOur employees will find a design environment where collaboration is at the core of the business.
