As a Fare Collection Program Manager, your primary responsibility is to provide technical and program management related to the the implementation of fare collection systems for public transportation agencies in the US, Canada and potentially abroad. You will play a crucial role in working with stakeholders, agency staff, fare system vendors, and technical teams to help deploy next generation fare collection systems that enhance customer experience through efficient and reliable fare collection systems and operations. As part of our Programme and Project Management team, you’ll help deliver some of the biggest, most iconic projects imaginable, with some of the best talent around. With your energy, agility and a keen eye for detail, you’ll deliver transformational outcomes for multiple clients every day.Role accountabilities:Work with a diverse group of stakeholders and technical teamsDevelop requirements and specifications for new and updated transit fare collection systemsCreate vendor procurement documents,Support vendor selection and negotiationCoordinate with a diverse range of transit agency business unitsOversee system implementation and testing, manage risk, and oversee transition from existing technologies, systems and operations and to ones. Work with transit agencies of all sizes, helping them implement mobile ticketing solutions, traditional farebox systems, account based closed loop fare systems, and open payment fare systemsInteract on a regular basis with client representatives from all levels and departments of a transit organization to identify needs, review technical concepts, and address issues as they ariseThe estimated salary for this role is between $97,000-$107,000 USD.Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
