Arcadis is seeking an Senior Transportation Planner to join our Transportation Planning team in Toronto, ON. This role is in our Mobility Global Business Area (GBA). This is an opportunity to grow your career in transportation planning by taking a leading role in major strategic transportation projects in Canada. Role accountabilities:Manage/lead transportation studies including supervising staff and undertaking and overseeing project tasks.Travel demand model design, estimation, and application;Modelling and forecasting for strategic plans, transportation master plans, corridor studies;Data collection/survey designData analysis and interpretation;Data synthesis and visualization;Technical mentorship of junior staff;Project management and coordination; andReport and proposal writingAttending client meetings, making presentationsQualifications:Five or more years’ professional experience in transportation model estimation and application;Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, computer science, geography, economics, planning, or related field;Familiarity with transportation planning process;Key Attributes:Experience with at least one travel demand modelling software package (Emme, Visum, TransCAD, Aimsun, CUBE);Experience with at least one statistical/econometric software packages (Biogeme, SPSS, ALogit);Experience in data analysis, databases, and scripting (MS Access, R, SQL, Python, VBA); Additional InformationWhy Arcadis?We can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
