Overview: Urban planner, urban economist, or urban designer to lead planning and policy reform projects in India and take on the role of a studio lead. Job Requirements: • 8+ years overall experience • Foreign education or work exposure is highly preferred • Experience in formulating and promoting innovative urban growth models in Indian cities • Experience in writing research papers/ guidelines / reports with an eye for detail • Strong communication skills • Willingness to learn because we believe in the value of continued learning • Most importantly, a team player who is happy to work with the growing and talented team members across the country Job Responsibilities: • Lead a team of 8-12 members consisting of urban planners and designers • Lead complex projects with multiple technical domains independently with minimal to no oversight • Manage client relationships through technical engagement • Guide the project team on planning processes and mechanisms • Ideate with key experts on innovative approaches and synthesize into written literature • Produce high quality reports, which includes writing and editorial oversight • Oversight of project’s financial health and ability to steer team to run a profitable business. • Master’s degree in urban planning or land economics or urban design from a reputed universityAdditional Information
