Arcadis is currently looking for a Sr. Electrical Engineer to join our Raleigh, NC office, however the role is open to remote work, within the US landscape. The Sr. Electrical Engineer role will develop construction drawings for projects across our offices such as industrial, civic, commercial and more. Working within our Design & Engineering teams, you'll create some of the world’s most iconic and ground-breaking structures and spaces that transform the world around us, from making journeys easier to opening public places that bring people together. People and communities thrive when the spaces in which they live, work, move and play are designed and managed in a way that best meets their needs.Role accountabilities:Provide design of electrical systems for architectural projects within defined budgetsUse Revit in the creation of construction documentsDirect Junior Engineers and Electrical Designers producing construction documents in RevitEnsure accuracy, completeness and quality of technical information and project documentation and ensure compliance with any applicable QA/QC programsEnsure that engineering deliverables (e.g., drawings, specifications, analysis, budget estimates) comply with applicable regulations, standards, corporate procedures and sound engineering practices.Ensure that project deliverables are met in a timely manner to a high quality Provide Peer Review of other electrical department projectsTravel is less than 5% Qualifications and Experience: Professional Engineering LicenseExperience with a focus on client satisfaction and quality.12 to 15 years of experience in the designing of electrical systems for industrial building, commercial buildings, factories, K-12, and Higher Education facilitiesAbility to work in a team coordinating with other engineers, designers, and architects.Ability to design power, lighting, fire alarm, data/com, and security systemsExperience with REVIT, ETAP, SKM POWERTOOLS or EASY POWERBachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering5 + years of hands on Revit experience Additional InformationWhy Arcadis?We can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
