Overview:The Arcadis IBI Group Transit & Mobility Data team is hiring a Transit Data Analyst to join their team. It is preferred that this position be in Boston MA, Seattle, WA, Washington DC, or Atlanta GA. Remote work from other locations in North America will be considered for a strong candidate.The Arcadis IBI Group Transit & Mobility Data team works with transit agencies across North America to deliver a wide variety of transit data, technology, and planning projects. While we have proven analytical skills, we distinguish ourselves by also bringing a thorough understanding of transit operations.Most of the things you'll work on:Data-focused transit planning and research projectsTransit realtime information systemsCode development, technical memos, and presentationsCollaboration with transit agency clients, and other design disciplines, offices, and staffProposals and other business development effortsYou'll need to haveExperience with transportation planning, engineering, or data analysisKnowledge of transit operationsFamiliarity with GTFS/GTFS-realtimeFamiliarity with database languages (e.g. TSQL and PSQL)Familiarity with data science platforms (e.g. Python)Attention to detail and ability to balance priorities and multiple projectsInterest in developing new skills and excitement for new challengesIt’s a bonus if you also have:Experience with managing transportation planning, engineering or data analysis projectsFamiliarity with other sources of transit data (e.g. APC, AVL, AFC)Familiarity with systems that create transit data (e.g. CAD/AVL)Additional InformationWhy you should work for Arcadis IBI Group :Our employees will find a design environment where collaboration is at the core of the business.
