Arcadis IBI Group’s Columbus, Ohio office is searching for a Water Resources Co-op student to join its growing team for a co-op or internship opportunity. The student will work directly with Project Managers on various tasks for water and wastewater projects for different facilities. Our Columbus office is a multi-disciplinary team that also works on site development and transportation projects. Responsibilities:Assist with design of various water and waste water projects for small to large sized facilities.Assist technical staff with cost estimating and plan layoutOpportunities to work with modelling and design softwarePotential work includes water and wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, water and sewer mainsWork with engineers and CAD staff to develop preliminary planning documentsAssist with the design of projects and observe construction projectsOpportunities to experience meetings with clients, contractors and the business of consulting engineeringUndergraduate student pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering or Environmental EngineeringInterest in water resources as a career path Strong communication skills both written and verbal Able to work effectively independently and on a team Previous Co-op work experience is an assetAvailable for a 4 month Co-op placementAdditional InformationAs part of Arcadis IBI Group's selection process, candidates may be requested to consent to background checks relevant to the role under consideration for, prior to receiving a job offer (as applicable under state law).
