This role will coordinate design through the construction administration phase. What You Will DoManage client, team and project coordination, including full documentation coordination with structural, MEP, lighting, AV, landscape and civil consultantsSupport communication between project team, clients, vendors, contractors, consultants, and building and all authorities having jurisdictionProvide technical guidance and innovative solutions to resolve complex technical and design challengesMaintain project manual and specificationsConduct and document site visits, process submittals, substitution requests, and RFI’s during construction Your QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture and experience in a commercial design firm10+ years of project experience in an architectural or engineering practice delivering large projects, with 5+ years of experience on Aviation specific projects.Experience designing and delivering aviation / airport projects is preferred (interior architecture, base building, ground up, renovations, and additions)Licensed / Registered ArchitectExperience with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, SketchUp, 3dMax, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), and MS OfficeLEED accreditation preferred*This role is not remote; we look forward to working with our new team member in either Tampa, Washington, D.C., or Pittsburgh.Life at GenslerAt Gensler, we are as committed to enjoying life as we are to delivering best-in-class design.
