The Role
You will be instrumental in the technical delivery of a major hotel project within a refurbished traditional building. Working from Stage 3 onwards, the role involves coordinating complex design packages, overseeing technical development, and ensuring meticulous execution during construction. The position demands a deep appreciation for heritage contexts and a strong command of Revit and UK construction standards.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver detailed technical and construction packages from RIBA Stages 3 to 7.
Navigate the complexities of working with existing historic structures.
Coordinate design intent with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
Conduct site inspections and resolve design issues during construction.
Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations and conservation requirements.
Manage workflows in Revit and contribute to BIM coordination.
Required Skills and Experience
ARB-registered Architect with demonstrable experience on heritage or refurbishment projects.
Strong proficiency in Revit and technical package delivery.
Experience delivering projects through RIBA Stages 3–7.
Previous work on hospitality and/or high-end residential schemes is advantageous.
Deep understanding of traditional construction methods and conservation practices.
Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
