You have experience in the design and execution of commercial development and have developed communication and team-building skills which have prepared you to manage projects. In this role, you will have opportunities to develop your existing strengths in design and technical coordination. In this position you can either work from our Monterrey or CDMX office, the position does not offer any remote work options. What You Will Do Manage multiple aspects of client, project coordination, and general contractors including full documentation coordination with structural, MEP, lighting, AV, landscape, and civil consultantsManage client relationships and team communicationResolve complex technical and design issuesMaintain the project manual and specificationsReview drawings for code complianceConduct on-site observations and document site reviewsProcess submittals, RFIs, substitution request, etc. during constructionInterface with building and permitting officials during the permitting and construction phases of the projectParticipate in office culture and initiativesYour Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Architecture3+ years of relevant architectural experience, with ideally 1 year of recent retail sector focused experienceProficiency with Revit and Sketchup100% bilingual English/Spanish; Excellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience with US based projects desirableUnderstanding of how buildings are constructed and ability to create technical documents that succinctly, thoroughly, and accurately describe the work to be doneWorking knowledge of building codes, standards, building construction, and building structures Strong communications, and relationship management skillsAbility to handle difficult situations with tact, grace, and emotional intelligenceExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong organizational skills Life at GenslerAt Gensler, we are as committed to enjoying life as we are to delivering best-in-class design.
