You will have Revit capabilities and be responsible for initiating the technical solutions to best meet the client and design briefs. You will be experienced in handling the technical process, with excellent communication and team relationship skills, and the ability to understand and interpret both the client, designer and contractor’s needs and requirements.What You Will DoAs an Architect, you will tap into your creativity to design unique professional environments, providing technical support for completion and execution of projects, working on all project stages.Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously working with the team to design and deliver major projects for professional and financial service companies and other corporates. These can be architecture and interior design projects.Experience in the design and delivery of workplace design projects is essentialManage project lifecycle; estimating, bidding, project kick-off, weekly coordination, punch/snagging lists, turnover, opening, and project close-outSupport communication between project team, clients, vendors, contractors, consultants, and building and permitting officialsProvide technical guidance and innovative solutions to resolve complex technical and design challenges Focused experience on the later stages of projectsMaintain project manual and specificationsConduct and document site visits, process submittals, substitution requests, and RFI’s during constructionHave a proactive, problem solving attitude and be able to work closely with the wider consultancy team to develop innovative technical design solutionsYour QualificationsAn undergraduate or Master’s degree in Architecture10 years experience in practiceFluency in both French and English is essential to the roleRegistered Architect in France would be beneficialExperience in project leadership, excellent client liaison and team management skillsKnowledge of French building regulations, codes, standards and building structuresAbility to develop collaborative relationships across the firm, with clients, and with other key constituentsProficiency in Revit preferredExperience with the full project lifecycleAbility to understand how buildings are constructed and to create technical documents that succinctly describe the work to be doneStrong leadership, organizational, communication and relationship-management skillsLife at GenslerWe encourage every person at Gensler to lead a healthy and balanced life.
