The Role
Our Architectural Assistants work on projects across all of our sectors, from healthcare to higher education, and residential to commercial. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with an experienced team on a range of projects and get direct access to Sector Leads who will share their specialist knowledge and skills. You will ensure the delivery of high-quality designs which align with ADP’s ethos and vision. You’ll be supported by a local director and our nationwide specialist sector directors.
Responsibilities
Assist with design development with appropriate competent technical solutions that align with our vision.
Depending on levels of qualifications and experience, take responsibility for the preparation and integrity of design and specification information.
Improve technical competency and understanding.
Ensure that all work is prepared in accordance with the practice’s BIM standards and protocols.
Work towards a full understanding of the new RIBA Plan of Work.
Work towards professional levels of qualification by listening, observing and learning.
The role will be mainly studio-based with some flexibility for ad-hoc home working. Unfortunately, we are not able to support candidates who require a visa to work.
