Key responsibilities Successful candidates should have 8yrs+ technical experience in all RIBA project stages in professional practice and experience in both; base build commercial projects, and high specification corporate interior fit-outs. General Office Responsibilities Contribute to the development of the technical team expertise including technical detailing, NBS production, regulatory compliance, tender and construction packages. Represent the practice and raise its’ profile in a positive manner. Work harmoniously with members across the studios, mainly our London studio. Maintain an accurate record of all meetings and actions. This diary remains the property of the studio. Continue to increase knowledge and attend CPD’s on a regular basis. Regularly contribute to technical design reviews both gathering and presenting information and carrying out technical reviews on studio projects. Project Responsibilities A senior level of experience and technical knowledge. Preferred 8yrs+ or proof of level of experience managing and developing project packages through on site management. Drawing Package Management: Lead the creation of design drawings and documents. Manage detailed design, the production information process and coordinate detailed design information. Contribute to the development of the technical expertise in the Dublin studio including technical detailing, NBS production, regulatory compliance Excellent specification writing capabilities. NBS. Excellent knowledge of all work stages and level of detail required for each RIBA stage Demonstrate a strong knowledge of technical aspects of a project. Work as part of a team to ensure design are Complaint with Building regulations Compliant with planning approvals Excellent site experience, snagging, RFI’s, inspections, BCAR site inspections and reporting capabilities. Contribute to the development of the technical expertise in the Dublin studio including technical detailing, NBS production, regulatory compliance. Good problem solver: solve problems and make decisions independently or in conjunction with other team members and senior employees. Develop unique and boundary pushing solutions. Can think creatively and strive to continually improve own processes within the studio. Attend client presentation meetings and other project meetings. Assist Designers and Architects in reviewing construction work on site Assist with Practical Completion to ensure smooth hand over of project to client. Report project issues to Project Senior Interior Designer / Project Manager and Project Associate Qualifications, Skills and Experience A degree in Architectural Technology Excellent Revit experience (minimum 5years) with technical focus abilities Excellent design and technical detailing skills. Family creation and creation of schedules (REVIT) Willing to act as technical mentor to junior staff members within the team. Good communication and presentation skills. Excellent knowledge and ability to undertake on-going research of joinery, furniture systems, products, finishes and materials. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate a team. An understanding of clients’ requirements and experience of client liaison. Experience of fast track projects from inception to completion. Client management skills. Organized to work well under pressure and meet deadlines efficiently. Willingness to listen and learn from all members of the team. Build good relationships at all levels, internally and externally. Working knowledge of Building regulations, British Standards and other relevant statutory legislation.
