Role Overview: As a Bid Manager/Coordinator, you will play a strategic role in driving the studio’s growth by managing the bid process to secure high-profile projects. Your expertise will guide the creation of compelling bid submissions that reflect the firm’s design ethos and vision. This is a highly collaborative role where you’ll work closely with senior leadership, design teams, and external consultants to deliver winning bids.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, evaluate, and prioritize tender opportunities, aligning them with the studio’s strategic goals.
Lead weekly review meetings to facilitate informed go/no-go decisions on tender opportunities.
Manage the end-to-end production of bid documents, ensuring deadlines are met and input from all contributors is seamlessly integrated.
Edit and refine bid content, ensuring a clear, coherent presentation of technical and creative materials.
Use advanced desktop publishing tools to design visually compelling bid presentations.
Maintain and update the bid library, ensuring all resources are current and aligned with the firm’s evolving strategy.
Requirements:
Proven experience in bid management and coordination, ideally within architecture, urban design, or the construction sector.
Strong background in developing new business strategies alongside senior management.
Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, with a keen eye for design and layout.
Exceptional English language skills, with a talent for editing and presenting complex information clearly.
Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to lead teams and manage multiple priorities under pressure.
Qualifications in graphic design, marketing, or equivalent experience are desirable.
