Are you a BIM Coordinator eager to contribute to some of the world’s most iconic architectural designs in bustling London?
Imagine being an integral part of a renowned architectural firm that doesn’t just make waves with its outstanding projects but also creates a vibrant environment that fosters creativity. This studio stands out not only for its designs but also for the emphasis it places on nurturing the ideas and innovation from every single member of its global team. With over 400 staff members spread across offices worldwide, opportunities to collaborate on an international scale are plenty.
Now, they're on the hunt for a passionate BIM Coordinator, specifically adept with Bentley OpenBuildings Designer and Microstation, to back their architectural project teams with BIM tools and workflows.
As the go-to person for all things BIM, you'd offer direct technical support to the project teams, acting as the bridge between them and the BIM Manager. Your days would involve setting up initial projects, maintaining BIM models, performing BIM coordination tasks, and even imparting training to team members. Monitoring the performance and quality of BIM models to ensure they align with both the project-specific requirements and the established BIM standards would be crucial. Wondering if you fit the bill?
If you possess a deep understanding of the Bentley environment along with its associated software and plugins, have experience with legacy CAD applications, and have delivered projects adhering to BIM standards, then you might be the one! Communication, both written and verbal, should be your forte. Plus, an innate attention to detail, proactive work approach, and a degree in Architecture or an architectural technology-based qualification are essential. Bonus points if you're familiar with Common Data Environment practices, particularly ProjectWise, have tackled large scale projects, or have dabbled in Revit and Generative Components.
And the icing on the cake? The plethora of benefits they offer. Not only would you have the chance to work on premier international projects and possibly transfer across their global studios, but you'd also have a mentor right within the firm. They offer competitive salaries, a lively social and sporting calendar, parental schemes, and a myriad of training and development opportunities.
