The Role: As BIM Manager, you'll wear quite a few hats! Directly linked with the Director of Digital Development, you'll manage the growing BIM and digital realm of the company. Drive productivity, head up the BIM Coordinator team, ensure compliance with BIM standards, engage with clients and their BIM Managers, and even dive deep into the creation of Dynamo scripts and Revit add-ins. With a role this diverse, every day promises a new challenge.
Your toolkit:
- You’re basically an Autodesk Revit, Navisworks Manage, ACC Cloud Collaboration wizard.
- Bentley tools? Bonus points if you’ve got experience there.
- Your app arsenal includes Dynamo, Solibri, Rhino+Grasshopper, and maybe even a splash of VR/AR visualization.
- You're a pro when it comes to COBie Asset Information and Carbon lifecycle assessment tools.
- As a techie, you're computer savvy and can juggle a variety of CDE platforms like BIM360, ACC, Aconex, and 4projects.
- Communication? You’ve got it down, both in managing your team and in getting your point across.
Credentials:
- You’re armed with a BIM Project Information Management Certification and Autodesk Information Management Certification.
- CAD and BIM systems in a project-based environment? You’ve been there, done that.
- An architectural or technologist qualification is a must-have in your resume.
