Role Overview: As a BIM Technician, you’ll contribute significantly to setting up new systems, creating and auditing Revit models, and expanding the current BIM library. A key focus will be on family creation, requiring advanced skills in parametric modeling, auditing, and editing. You’ll also mentor colleagues, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration across the studio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage the studio-wide BIM library.
• Lead the creation and auditing of Revit models.
• Focus on family creation, ensuring parametric modeling is precise and effective.
• Mentor and coach team members in BIM best practices.
• Prepare for and potentially lead complex BIM Level 2 projects.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• A degree in architectural technology, architecture, construction, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, with strong experience in family creation.
• Solid understanding of building codes and industry standards.
• Experience with ISO 19650 documentation, Cobie datasets, and clash detection workflows.
• Familiarity with software such as AutoCAD, Navisworks, and scripting plugins like Dynamo and Grasshopper.
