Whilst this position is based in Bristol, there is the potential to be based in full or part out of our Cardiff studio. Our Cardiff office has only been in existence for a short time, and we have plans for expansion. If you feel that Cardiff is a better working location for you then we will consider this.The RoleWe are looking for an ambitious BIM Technologist/Coordinator/Manager, with sound knowledge of Revit BIM standards and systems on a project basis and their creation, implementation and management. You will be producing outputs using COBie processes and have a structured approach to problem-solving and decision-making to complement your ability to work with minimum supervision as a collaborative team member.Your Skills and Experience A degree in Architectural Technology or Architecture, with a demonstrable track record of working in a technical capacity preferably as a high-level BIM user Excellent working knowledge of BIM / Revit with a minimum 4 years continual Revit use / experience Demonstrable working knowledge of BIM, CAD, COBie and Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel and Outlook Manage a multi-user Revit environment Produce large scale schemes in BIM/Revit at various project stages Manage or coordinate several third party BIM standards within an office Enthusiastic, positive and a proactive attitude to work, remaining self-motivated and able to motivate other team members A flexible approach and ability to cope with the varying demands of the role A creative and innovative thinker Key Responsibilities Understand a BIM Execution Plan (BEP) for your assigned projects Attend BIM mobilisation meetings with the external design team and BIM Design Team reviews when necessary Undertake Level 2 BIM on projects Undertake clash detection and reporting where necessary Undertake COBie process and outputs Understand UK Building Regulations Produce accurate and coordinated building packages Promote processes and workflows that bring efficiencies to the way we work Work with Project BIM Co-ordinators to assist the development of the BIM library Ensure that ongoing projects are being undertaken in accordance with the current project BIM standards where necessary What we offer you Salary: Competitive salary based on experience Working Hours: 37 hours per week (Hybrid Working) 25 days holiday plus public holidays, increasing with service Support with career progression and education Paid professional memberships BUPA Health Cash Plan Life Assurance scheme Discretionary bonus scheme Cycle2Work scheme Our full benefits package can be found on the AHR careers site.This is a great opportunity to join our highly creative and ambitious team in a great studio close to transport links.
