Position Overview
The ideal candidate will be an integral part of our corporate accounting team and will be responsible for a wide variety of accounting tasks throughout the department, including:
Accurate and timely invoicing monthly.
Assist with month-end reporting for regional and consolidated corporate operations.
Assist with year-end audit schedules.
Collection correspondence and coordination of invoices.
Input work plan budget and fee information into the database.
Review consultant invoices against project budgets and correctly code to project/account.
Review consultant invoices for accuracy according to contract/budget and timeliness of payments.
Assist in project accounting functions as assigned.
Month-end reporting, collection of receivables, preparing and analyzing forecasts.
Contractor/Subcontractor billing and reconciliation of their work.
Intercompany reconciliation.
Processes Vendor payments and Employee Expense Reports and reimbursements.
Managing petty cash transactions.
Edit and help maintain US Accounting software.
Handling matters pertaining to statutory compliances which include Tax and TDS returns.
Complete Government Searches on all vendors and clients semiannually (SAM Searches).
May handle other responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates must have:
A minimum of 3 years of related accounting experience.
Bachelor's in Accounts/Finance or related field preferred.
Good knowledge of general accounting practices.
Strong communication skills, exceptional time management, and planning skills with the ability to multitask, maintain, and prioritize deadlines.
Working knowledge of tax compliances like TDS/VAT/GST/Sales tax & Service tax.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong Excel skills required; Deltek Vision experience a plus.
